Pittsburgh’s Acoustic Challenge 2012

Here’s how it works:
-
The Challenge runs for a total of 6 weeks in a row – 5 weeks of preliminary judging; one night for the FINALS
-
All performances take place on stage at Sing Sing, The Waterfront's oginal Rock N' Roll Dueling Piano Bar & Brewery
-
Each night of preliminary judging includes at least 5 artists, either performing solo or in a duo
-
Each artist gets 15 minutes to perform all original music using all acoustic instruments
-
A panel of volunteer judges, all involved in the music industry, will judge each performer using an official ballot
-
The winner from each preliminary round of judging performs at the Finals
-
Each preliminary round winner gets a paying gig on a Tuesday night at Rock Bottom (Dates TBD)
-
3rd Place receives an acoustic guitar
-
2nd Place receives studio time at local recording studio
-
1st Place receives $1000 Cash Prize!
-
Plus door prizes
