Acoustic Challenge Rules:  Each participant has 15 minutes to perform all original music.  A panel of judges, all in the music industry, will use an official ballot to select winners.  Judging is based on Song Structure, Originality, Stage Presence and Musicianship.  A small portion of the vote will be “audience response.”  *Acoustic instruments* only!  No electronic enhancements (effects pedals, etc.) permitted.  Drum equipment is limited to congas, bongos or hand drums.  Keyboards may be used on piano setting only.  

Only Acoustic Solos or Duos will be judged.  

Sound equipment (p.a. system, monitors, microphones and speakers) will be provided.

2017 Acoustic Challenge held at the Crafthouse Stage & Grill! 

What an event for original music!  

At the finals on Tuesday, September 5th, the winners, Chris Hannigan & Freddy Bashor performed a flawless set of musical harmonies and unique heartfelt, upbeat, and catchy songs! 

 2nd place winner, Jay Wiley sang his unforgettable songs with immense feeling and great energy! 

3rd place winner, Jackson Gardner brought Nashville home to the Crafthouse! His songs are very upbeat and memorable!
